Hey hey! I'm Jared, a 24-year old entrepreneur who's passionate about helping others follow Jesus on a deeper level. My wife, Kat, and I are currently living in Florida where we're passionately serving our local church and our community of friends.

Growing up, I was raised in a Christian home. I knew all the "right answers" in Sunday school, but in reality, I didn't actually experience Jesus in my daily life. Why? Because 1) I didn't make Him a priority and 2) I didn't truly believe that a life submitted to Him was actually better. I did, however, experience small glimpses of that better reality during youth retreats, missions trips, and one-off moments where I served others and stood in awe of God. Those moments ignited a flame that was later fanned during college.

Once I got to college, so much changed within the first few months. One of those changes was actually seeing for the first time a community of committed believers living passionately for Jesus.

From that point on, I wanted to know Jesus so much more. I wanted to be wrapped up in His arms knowing that He was the only one who could truly carry me. I wanted to know him through my experience rather than just knowing him through knowledge of facts and theology. I started worshipping God while watching sunsets, praying continuously as I went on throughout my day, and I started having genuine conversations about my faith with others. Things weren't always on the way up from that point on, but the more I pursued Jesus, the more I experienced that better reality of following Him.

In both the mountaintop times and the darkest valleys, there's always an opportunity to submit to Jesus and to further fall in love with Him. That's what I'm passionate about, and that's what I want to help others do. In the good times let's rejoice and thank God for these moments. In the bad times, let's rejoice knowing that God is using this for our maturity in Him. It's a WIN-WIN regardless of the outcome. It doesn't get rid of the pain or disappointment, but there's an underlying joy that can be relied on.
